Slowmography

Out of fascination for photography and the simplicity of it I’ve started to building my own camera’s.

In the beginning these consist of various pinhole-camera’s (including pinhole camera’s that could capture with a extreme wide angle & zoom lens and that could capture a full 360 degrees image). After a line of pictures with these various camera’s that have been improved over time. I’ve got integrated by what is visible within a certain timespan.

I’ve realized that the most importuned aspect of a certain space is the moment / the duration of time that takes place. Therefor I’ve started to investigate how it is possible to capture time within one image.

This results in a camera that scans an image over time (from 1 to apx. 20 minutes). And in images that show a whole world of new discoveries that lay in ‘that what happens in a certain period of time’.
